<p>Have you ever been stuck in a negative mode of energy?  Usually these feeling of negative energy can be tied to finances, health, relationships or family issues, or lack of fulfillment of dreams and desires.   Being stuck in negative energy can keep you from achieving happiness, success, creativity and productivity. <span id="more-401"></span></p>
<p>When you meet someone for the first time, you generally make a decision about how you feel about him or her within seconds.  Sure, you will make a conscious decision about them perhaps based on their dress or other factors but it is something intangible that will determine your final thoughts on how you feel about this person.  It&#8217;s the energy they&#8217;re radiating.  What kind of energy are they giving off?</p>
<p>You are picking up their vibrations, whether it&#8217;s sadness, anger, fear, worry or happiness, joy, love.  Now, this doesn&#8217;t necessarily have to happen in person, it could be at a distance such as on the telephone.</p>
<p>Imagine a time when you felt full of life and energy.  You probably glowed and it showed around others.  When you felt this way, things in your life probably went your way and things just flowed like a river in your direction.  Now, try and feel how you felt at both ends of the spectrum, full of energy as well as being in negative energy.</p>
<p>Obviously, being full of energy is more desirable and conducive.  So how do we get more of this feeling?  Sometimes negative energy can come over you with a sudden event or experience while other times it may slowly overtake you. The first thing you need to do is be able to notice any changes going on within yourself.  The sooner you can catch any transition from positive to negative energy, the easier it will be to stop it and reverse it back to positive.</p>
<p>Here is a list of things you can do to help allow the flow to go from a negative energy field to a positive one:</p>

<li>Read      positive material - reading positive material can help keep your mind from      spiraling into negative thoughts.       It could be an uplifting book or excerpts of positive sayings.</li>

<li>Go on      a nature walk - just being with nature can help calm you and give you a      feeling of inner peace and solitude.</li>
</ul>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Spend      time with family and friends - being with your family and friends can help      your support system but make sure the communication is kept positive.</li>
</ul>

<li>Watch      funny shows or movies - watching shows to make you laugh can have a very      healthy affect on your body especially during times of negative      health.  Medical studies have proven      that laughter has tremendous healing benefits to the body and mind.</li>
</ul>

<li>Gratitude      - when you resonate with gratitude, you vibrate with acceptance and      harmony.  When you vibrate with this      resonance, you will begin attracting events and circumstances from the      Universe, which you desire.</li>
</ul>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Listening      to uplifting music - music can have an emotional connection with us.  So by listening to uplifting, inspiring      music, your emotions as well as brain waves can be altered positively.</li>
</ul>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Meditation      -Many times it is our mind that causes unnecessary thoughts, which lead to      unwanted feelings and emotions. Meditation is a great way to really quiet      your mind and calm the body from any stress and negativity.</li>
</ul>
<p>When positive energy is flowing within you, you&#8217;ll find that you attract other positive emotions, events and experiences.  So experiment with the various energy shifters above and see which ones allow you to feel a shift in your energy.</p>

<p>In order to be successful in life you must have confidence and believe in yourself and your inner ability.  Your strong, focused and positive mental attitude will go a long way to increasing your chances of success.</p>
<p>As I write this, the American economy is going through a very severe recession.  During this time, I have spoken to many people who feel helpless and hopeless.  They have no self belief.  Their mental attitude is weak and they only think negatively.  <span id="more-367"></span></p>
<p>With this kind of thinking and attitude, how does someone expect to create anything other than FAILURE?   The reason people have a lack of belief in themselves probably stems from childhood issues but I&#8217;m not here to go into a psycho analysis.</p>
<p>The purpose here is to take control of your inner power and manifest your desires and control your destiny regardless of the circumstances around you.  You have a choice to either allow outside circumstances to dictate how you live or you can dictate what kind of life you want.</p>
<h4>Here are 4 things you can do to emerge your inner power:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Picture an image of success in your mind.  Hold this mental image in your mind and don&#8217;t let anything sway you away from it. Practice this daily.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Cancel out any negative thoughts that pop into your mind.  Do this by simply seeing a red &#8220;X&#8221; to cancel out any unfavorable thoughts.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Have an affirmation- &#8220;I can accomplish anything through God.&#8221;  Say this throughout your day especially in the morning before getting out of bed and in the evening before you fall asleep.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Have faith!  The old adage says &#8220;Believe and you shall receive.&#8221;</li>
</ul>
<p>Follow and take ACTION on inspiration you receive.  Nothing will happen if you don&#8217;t act on these inspirations.</p>
<p>If you follow these steps, you&#8217;ll be amazed at your new attitude and results to match.</p>

<p>Do you allow your <strong>ideas or ideals</strong> to lead your life?  You may be asking &#8220;who cares?&#8221; or &#8220;what&#8217;s the difference?&#8221;  Let&#8217;s differentiate the two first of all.  An idea is a concept that exists in the mind.  For example, you may have an idea of buying a car or starting a new business.  An ideal is a concept of something in its perfection.  An example would be to live a life of freedom and independence on your own terms.   It may be of serving others by uplifting and empowering them. <span id="more-350"></span></p>
<p>The main difference is that an idea can be reached or satisfied, such as a owning a home, a particular car, a certain amount of money in your bank account, getting married or having a certain job.  They all have limitations because once you obtain it then it&#8217;s on to the next thing.  When does it stop?  Don&#8217;t get me wrong, all these events are great and why wouldn&#8217;t you want to achieve them?</p>
<p>Ideals on the other hand are a source of constant drive.  The ideal of empowering others resides deep within that individual and can&#8217;t be measured by anything tangible.  It&#8217;s what drives them to be inspired and passionate.</p>
<p>For example, the ideal of being a creative individual is much more powerful than the idea of designing something creative.  The idea of designing something creative will be fulfilled once it&#8217;s created but the ideal of being creative will live within you forever and that will carry over to everything you do.</p>
<p>Too many times we think of ideas that require us to think in terms of doing as opposed to ideals which consist of us just being.  It is much easier to be than to do, isn&#8217;t it?   It takes less effort and we are willing to put up with more road blocks and failures which eventually lead to our desired success.  That&#8217;s because your ideal is part of you, it&#8217;s who you are deep inside where an idea is just temporary.</p>
<p>So instead of having ideas of money, being a certain weight, relationships, think about what you really mean.  What you really mean is you have an ideal of living in financial freedom, complete health and well being and happiness and love.  Live your life from this perspective and you will probably find it more enriching.</p>

<p>There has been recent popularity on a new diet called the <strong>calorie restriction diet</strong>.  The principle of the calories restriction diet is to eat until you&#8217;re only 80% full.  This is nothing new really.  In fact, residents of Okinawa, Japan have been already doing this.  They consume on average 700 calories less per day than the average westerner. <span id="more-329"></span></p>
<p>Studies have shown that residents of Okinawa, Japan have among the lowest rate of heart disease, osteoporosis, and hormone-dependent cancer.  Eating smaller portions is much healthier and better for you than eating until you are full.  When you eat to fill up your stomach you become more tired and sleepy.</p>
<p>So how can we apply this principle to daily living?  By eating large portions and filling our stomachs up, we are overindulging ourselves and by doing so we are giving away our power. This can be applied to just about anything in life we do.  If we do too much of one thing, we give our power away to that action.</p>
<p>If we keep things in moderation, then we are in control.  This applies to anything, not just food.  It could be alcohol, working, activities that take away from your family or anything else.</p>

There has been a lot of information on the law of attraction (LOA) and how it works but before we get into the steps you can take to start manifesting and creating your desires, let’s take a look at how this whole process of attraction works in the Universe.  <img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-217" title="powerful-visualization" src="http://www.emergethepowerwithin.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/powerful-visualization-300x225.jpg" alt="powerful-visualization" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>Even though you do not need to understand how the LOA works to use it just like you don’t need to know how a light bulb works or a DVD player works in order to use these products, in this particular case I feel it is important to comprehend.  This way there will be no doubt in your mind as to whether the LOA works and it will hopefully make you more aware of your thoughts, feeling and actions as you go about your daily life.</p>
<p>The basic principle of the LOA starts with one simple equation.  That equation was formulated by Albert Einstein which is E=MC2.  In other words, energy = matter and that the two are interchangeable. Matter is simply a solid object and solid objects are nothing but energy.  So how are solid objects energy?   Quantum Physics proves that everything is made up of atoms and atoms broken down in their simplest form is nothing but pure waves of ENERGY.  <span id="more-215"></span></p>
<p>This pure energy is what makes up everything in our entire Universe including ourselves.  This ONE ENERGY that connects all of life.  Energy can’t be created or destroyed and it is constantly vibrating.  Energy vibrates in waves called frequencies and each form of energy or solid object can vibrate at different frequencies.  These waves of energy that vibrate at the same frequency act like a magnet and attract other like frequencies.</p>
<p>Initially, Einstein believed that this energy was made up of particles until years later he was proved incorrect.  Physicist and Nobel Prize winner Niels Bohr discovered that energy was not comprised of particles but rather waves.  Now here is where it gets very interesting.  These waves behaved and turned into particles based on the individual thoughts and beliefs of the scientists observing them!</p>
<p><strong>Let me repeat this</strong>.</p>
<p><em>These waves would respond and take form as particles due to the thoughts of the scientist who was doing the study.  So it was the scientist’s individual thinking that determined how the energy waves would take form.</em></p>
<p>There have been many scientific tests called the split wave experiment on this and you can see this fully explained on video by Physicist Fred Alan Wolf of “What The Bleep Do We Know!?”</p>
<p>The conclusion is that your thoughts are CREATIVE.  Your thoughts are energy and everything around you is affected by your thoughts.  In other words since everything around you and as well as the Universe is made up of waves of energy, whatever you think and believe to be true is true and whatever you believe to be false is false because you are creating your own reality or world.</p>
<p>So in its simplest form, the LOA is the attraction of waves of energy that are being attracted to thoughts and feelings that you are emitting from your body.  Like frequencies are attracting other like frequencies in the Universe.  It’s the same principle of how a radio transmitter works.  If you tune in to a certain radio dial, you will pick up that radio stations frequencies.  If you tune in to station 101.5 on your dial, you’re not going to hear music from 107.1 because it’s not on the same frequency.</p>
<p>So if you believe you are poor, sick unlucky or whatever else, then that is what you will attract because you are vibrating at certain frequencies with those thoughts and emotions.  You are literally the director and producer of your world.  So the question is what will you produce?</p>
<p>Now that you have some understanding on how the LOA works, you can start using this knowledge to help create the life you truly desire such as a life of abundance and joy.  So, how does one begin to move towards a life of attracting the things one wishes to have and experience?</p>
<p>There are a number of components that go into the LOA, however, the biggest and most influential are your emotions.  Since everything in the Universe is vibrating at certain frequencies, whatever frequency you are vibrating at will go out into the Universe and look for similar vibrating frequencies.  Whatever emotions you are feeling will create vibrating frequencies.  As stated before, like frequencies will go and attract other like frequencies.</p>
<p>So the secret to getting the LOA to work for you and work expeditiously is to make sure you are really feeling the emotions of what you want.  Now it can be hard to do this, in other words manufacture these feelings.</p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>3.</strong> <strong>Subconscious beliefs:</strong></span> This is probably the most powerful and important of the three.  Without it you are limited in what you will earn regardless of the your attitude and how much inspired action you take.  Don&#8217;t get me wrong, you will be better off by embracing first two but you need this step to really make a quantum leap. </span></p>

Before 1954, no one had run a four-minute mile. Roger Bannister changed all that with his thinking, first and foremost. He said, &#8220;Fueled by my faith in my training, I will overcome all obstacles. I am brave! I am not afraid to face anyone on the track. I believe this is not a dream. It is my reality.&#8221;<br />

<p><span style="color: #000000;">What&#8217;s strange is that his record was broken 46 days later, and within two years, nine sub-four-minute miles gained the same fame. It seems astounding that we could go through history without ever cracking the mile in four minutes and then all of a sudden 9 athletes succeed at it within two years of Bannister&#8217;s record-breaking time. How on earth could that be? <span id="more-219"></span><br />
</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Another anecdote is of a college student by the name of George Dantzig. George liked to study and one early morning, he happened to oversleep for his math class. He arrived 20 minutes late and quickly copied two math problems on the board, thinking they were the homework assignment. After working on them for several days, he turned them in to his math professor.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">His excited math professor&#8217;s phone call awakened him the following Sunday morning. Because George had been 20 minutes late for class, he didn&#8217;t know that the problems on the board were not his homework, but actually two equations that Einstein hadn&#8217;t been able to solve. You see, George believed he was working on ordinary homework problems, and thus was able to solve them!</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">What happened in these two instances? Bannister and the following runners, and George Dantzig, had adopted a winning mindset - consciously for the former, unconsciously for the latter. They approached these events with a mindset of expectancy, rather than one of lack, or impossibility. The reason Bannister ran a sub par 4-minute mile is due to his unwavering faith and belief. He had intent, focused on the reality of winning, and reaffirmed over and over.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">What if George had arrived in class on time? Do you think he would have still been able to resolve the two problems that had stumped many before him, including mathematical genius Albert Einstein&#8230; probably not. Tainted by the history of these problems, his mind would have accepted that they were unworkable, and erected a huge barrier to his unbiased, creative brainstorming - and his miraculous place in the history of mathematics.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">The lesson here is easy to see: let&#8217;s not place limits on our thinking, no matter what the project or task we undertake. Thinking big truly opens our path to success.<br />
</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;">In a report by &#8220;<span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong><a title="Psychology Today" href="http://www.psychologytoday.com/articles/pto-20030424-000003.html" target="_blank">Psychology Today</a></strong></span>&#8220;  Neuroscientists have found that meditators shift their brain activity to different areas of the cortex-brain waves in the stress-prone right frontal cortex move to the calmer left frontal cortex. In other words, they were calmer and happier than before.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D., of the University of Massachusetts Medical School, recorded the brain waves of stressed-out employees of a high-tech firm in Madison, Wisconsin. The subjects were split randomly into two groups, 25 people were asked to learn meditation over eight weeks, and the remaining 16 were left alone as a control group. <span id="more-172"></span><br />

<p><span style="color: #000000;">All participants had their brain waves scanned three times during the study: at the beginning of the experiment, when meditation lessons were completed eight weeks later and four months after that. The researchers found that the meditators showed a pronounced shift in activity to the left frontal lobe. In other words, they were calmer and happier than before. The study will be published in the next issue of <em>Psychosomatic Medicine</em>.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Meditation has been found to produce &#8220;pleasurable brain chemicals&#8221;, the ones that you feel on those REALLY good days says <span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong><a href="http://www.centerpointe.com/?aid=370861" target="_blank">Bill Harris of Centerpointe Research</a></strong></span>.  So why not have REALLY good days most of the time?</span></p>
