How To Shift Your Energy From Negative To Positive

Have you ever been stuck in a negative mode of energy? Usually these feeling of negative energy can be tied to finances, health, relationships or family issues, or lack of fulfillment of dreams and desires. Being stuck in negative energy can keep you from achieving happiness, success, creativity and productivity.
When you meet someone for the first time, you generally make a decision about how you feel about him or her within seconds. Sure, you will make a conscious decision about them perhaps based on their dress or other factors but it is something intangible that will determine your final thoughts on how you feel about this person. It’s the energy they’re radiating. What kind of energy are they giving off?
You are picking up their vibrations, whether it’s sadness, anger, fear, worry or happiness, joy, love. Now, this doesn’t necessarily have to happen in person, it could be at a distance such as on the telephone.
Imagine a time when you felt full of life and energy. You probably glowed and it showed around others. When you felt this way, things in your life probably went your way and things just flowed like a river in your direction. Now, try and feel how you felt at both ends of the spectrum, full of energy as well as being in negative energy.
Obviously, being full of energy is more desirable and conducive. So how do we get more of this feeling? Sometimes negative energy can come over you with a sudden event or experience while other times it may slowly overtake you. The first thing you need to do is be able to notice any changes going on within yourself. The sooner you can catch any transition from positive to negative energy, the easier it will be to stop it and reverse it back to positive.
Here is a list of things you can do to help allow the flow to go from a negative energy field to a positive one:
- Read positive material - reading positive material can help keep your mind from spiraling into negative thoughts. It could be an uplifting book or excerpts of positive sayings.
- Go on a nature walk - just being with nature can help calm you and give you a feeling of inner peace and solitude.
- Spend time with family and friends - being with your family and friends can help your support system but make sure the communication is kept positive.
- Watch funny shows or movies - watching shows to make you laugh can have a very healthy affect on your body especially during times of negative health. Medical studies have proven that laughter has tremendous healing benefits to the body and mind.
- Gratitude - when you resonate with gratitude, you vibrate with acceptance and harmony. When you vibrate with this resonance, you will begin attracting events and circumstances from the Universe, which you desire.
- Listening to uplifting music - music can have an emotional connection with us. So by listening to uplifting, inspiring music, your emotions as well as brain waves can be altered positively.
- Meditation -Many times it is our mind that causes unnecessary thoughts, which lead to unwanted feelings and emotions. Meditation is a great way to really quiet your mind and calm the body from any stress and negativity.
When positive energy is flowing within you, you’ll find that you attract other positive emotions, events and experiences. So experiment with the various energy shifters above and see which ones allow you to feel a shift in your energy.
